How to officially #getCONNECTED with Ball Ground Elementary STEM Academy as a Partner in Education or Companies that Care: 

Step 1: First elect if you are a Partner in Education or Companies that Care.  

  • If you are a member of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, please complete this Partnership Application
  • If you are not a member of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, please complete this Companies that Care  Application.
  • Please email the completed application to our STEM Partnership Liaisons noted below or drop off your completed application at Ball Ground Elementary STEM Academy. These agreements will automatically renew each year for no more than three-years.

We’ve broken down our needs by time, talent and treasure.  Here are some ways that you can partner with us!

Time

Classroom mystery readers; Ball Ground Buddies student mentor program; volunteers for special events; volunteers to help keep campus clean and beautiful; volunteer to help create drama club sets; group mentors to advise students during projects; guest judges for student projects

Talent

Presenters for STEM demonstrations; participate in STEM Career Day; STEM-related field trip hosts; classroom and club speakers/volunteers; subject matter experts to advise teachers and students on content related questions; provide connections to other partners

Treasures

Financial or in-kind donations for student and staff recognitions and incentives; classroom snacks; sponsor to stock the teacher’s lounge with refreshments gifts and special treats for teacher appreciation; sponsor STEM lab experiences; groceries for food pantry; Christmas sponsors for children in need; monetary donations and grants to be used in the classrooms; bingo prizes; silent auction items for fall festival; refreshments for staff meetings; sponsorships for after school care or field trip fees for students in need.
