Ball Ground Elementary is a school that has a rich history as being the core of the community. The school, located in the beautiful North Georgia foothills, continues to maintain the community school atmosphere while embracing the ever-changing modern society.

Transportation Changes:
In an effort to ensure the safety and smooth dismissal of all students, we are implementing new transportation change procedures that are consistent with the other elementary schools in our zone. These changes have been designed to safeguard all students and reduce the risk of mistakes in our dismissal process.
Daily Transportation Reminders:

Pre-Arranged Transportation: Students will be sent home according to the transportation method circled for that day on the monthly calendar (in the back of every student's take-home folder).

Unmarked Calendars: If your child’s calendar is not marked, they will automatically be sent to the After School Program (ASP), and a $20 drop-in fee will apply.

ASP Payment: ASP is a PREPAID Only service. Payments must be made in advance either:

Online by 11:59 PM on Sunday

By cash/check received in the front office by 10:00 AM on Friday prior to the week your child will attend.

Emergency Transportation Changes: In the event of an emergency requiring a change in transportation after the school day has started, you must call the front office before 1:45 PM.

Please note, the only allowable change is to ASP, and the $20 drop-in fee must be paid online at the time of the change.
