Ball Ground Elementary STEM Academy is one of Cherokee County School District's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Academies. At Ball Ground Elementary STEM Academy, we have designed and are implementing inquiry-based, transdisciplinary STEM tasks to increase academic achievement through creative and critical thinking. We encourage our students to be critical thinkers, creators, collaborators, and communicators. Students use the Problem-Solving Process to solve problems across disciplines through inquiry-based transdisciplinary activities and learning opportunities.
